iOS setup on a personal iPhone in Cambodia
On a standard iPhone or iPad the App Store is the only route apps arrive by, which removes any question about where an install came from. Updates are handled by iOS, and an iPad signed in to the same Apple account can carry the same app when a larger chart is useful at home.
Cambodia is at UTC+7, so the European hours open in the mid-afternoon and the North American hours run late into the evening. An iPhone is the device likeliest to still be within reach at that point, particularly if the household's shared computer has been switched off for the night.
Two settings are worth checking before the first session, and both belong to iOS rather than to the platform: the passcode or Face ID that protects a signed-in app, and notification permissions, which decide whether alerts appear on the lock screen where other people can read them. The trading interface language, in contrast, is selected inside the platform itself.
